cast the list of trade payable.
what they mean by casting??
As per context, cast is a measure undertaken to verify the mathematical accuracy of accounts.
“cast a list to ensure mathematical accuracy”
Cast, in this case is a verb.
One of the online definitions available is;
to compute (figures or a total) .
So, my assumption is that this means that the list is computed perhaps by the means of CAATs? Please correct me if I am wrong in any way.
Strange, why are these options to use bold and “linking” available if they don’t function?
