Please tell about kind of test in interim audit?
1-I know is include huge number of test of control but is it can include analysis procedure with Budget?
2- is in terim audit no Test of detail at all?
The ‘classic’ interim audit tests controls. However, there is no reason why APs could not be used at interim stage to discover risk areas and to ensure that more work is done in those areas.
Tests of detail are often carried out at the interim stage. If there are weak controls then tests of detail, such as tracing entries from day books to ledgers, have to be used, and there is no reason that at least seom of these cannot be done at the interim stage.
Thank you very much
