    Dear all,

I am planning to sit SBR and ATX in June 2018. Just wanted to know if there are any suggestions. Should I take these 2 or just one for now?

    Regards,
    Taimur

    Hi Taimur,

Well, before I begin allow to me to stress upon an important point, ACCA allows up to 4 exams per sitting but it is solely the choice of the students and their decision to make in regards to how many or which paper they want to give and in what order.
I personally recommend giving 1 paper per sitting no matter one is in Knowledge, Skills or Strategic Professional Level.

The primary reason for this is to make sure that one secures a good first time pass.
1 paper can be boring and it may seem slow but it ensures that you are dedicating sufficient time for preparation. Appropriate length of time for studying and practising thoroughly. Your focus is on one paper and your attention is not divided.
This helps to balance other commitments like work and/or social life.

However, it is important to make a plan and stick to it. Be disciplined. Because it is easy to start slacking as one may take their time in hand for granted.

So in a nutshell, better to take just one paper.
And these are Strategic Level papers which are not easy to pass ( no intention to scare you, simply stating the fact!)

On the contrary, as I have mentioned earlier, this is my own opinion and not a cast-iron rule.

    All the best!

    Hope this helps.
