I need a hint on how i can tackle a question requiring me to explain the concept of agency and how the auditor provides assurance(5marks)
Directors are agents of the shareholders and should act in shareholders’ best interests. The auditors provide assurance that the FS are true and fair so that the shareholders can judge directors’ performance
