Hi Mike,
I am going through the assurance engagement chapter and i am finding it difficult to understand the concept.
What exactly or procedures would an auditor carry out on a client?
What is the purpose of an assurance engagement to the client?I dont know what sort of questions can be thrown in the exam regarding this topic..
I believe that the free course notes and lectures cover in enough detail the reason and situation that assurance engagements are carried out
As to types of questions that might be asked, they tend to be general rather than asking for detailed steps facing the reporting accountant
