Hello sir,
What will be the effect of associates in the consolidated statement of financial position and consolidated statement of income statement. Please understand me with an example.
And i want to know that- Is associates related question given in the f3 exam?You cannot be asked for calculations involving associates, but you are expected to know what they are, and what the treatment of them is.
You can find what they are and the treatment in the free lectures on consolidations (together with the free Lecture Notes that go with the lectures.
I cannot type out the notes and lectures again here 🙂
So, you wanna say that they won’t ask to include associate to prepare the CSFP and CIS but will ask about them and the treatment?
That is what I said 🙂
You cannot be asked numbers in the exam in relation to associates.
