Good Day,
I have a question:
Ali Khan’s employer AT Ltd provides him with accommodation which cost $150, 000 and has an annual value of $1,500. AT Ltd also pays the cost of accommodation as follows:
Electricity- $1,340
Gas Bills- $1,200
Cleaning- $2,500
Private telephone calls- $850
Structural repairs- $3,000
What is the assessable benefit?
Is it:
1,500 + (150,000-75,000) + the additional costs totalling 8,890 = $85,390 ?
Annual value = 1500
Expensive accom’n (150,000 – 75,000) x 3.25% = 2437
Running expenses (1340 + 1200 + 2500 + 850) = 5890
Total 9827
Oh i feel so silly now. I understand. Thank you 😀
m not clear about structural costs
ohhh i got it
