Dear Kim , Thank you for your support. i given AA in march and i failed with 42. I want to say my situation and asking for good advice.
I was working so i couldn’t consentrate after work, So i stopped working and i had left around 10 feb . then i started completing syllabus and all feb was gone to finish syllabus and taking lectures. i had 3 days to revise and solve exam kit and i solved all section A questions and went through 9 Section B questions ( only reading ).
I was shocked to see the section B questions are nothing to do with the lectures.
In exam, i took all time to complete Section A and it went well as far as i can tell. Section C how ever was no good. I could do the some bits and i was running low on time and left 10 marks part in section c unattempted about control deficiency and internal controls.
I couldn’t even come up with one deficiency and intenal control, it was so scary at that moment. Now i am studing FM and will finish syllabus by 23 April. I will give AA again with f9 . so suggest me what should i do.
should i start taking the lectures again because i am not sure i remember all of it or should focus on solving exam kit and mock exam.
I apprecite it greatly
April 17, 2023 at 9:18 am #682923There is no substitute for properly attempting questions to time and comparing own answers with published answers and marking schemes – this is how to learn in the revision phase.
I suggest you start with looking at your feedback https://opentuition.com/topic/acca-my-exam-performance-for-non-variant-applied-skills-exams-is-available-now
Then you need to work through as many Qs & As in the CBE platform PROPERLY – it is better to do fewer thoroughly rather than merely read lots.
