Well, am experiencing insistence in the treatment of the benefits calculations using this article as an example after subtracting the fixed (3.6-4.5=0.9) floating (1.5-.8=0.7) now my confusion is that some times the benefits are subtracted (0.9-0.7=0.2) but some times they are added like in this situations (0.9+.07=1.6) I real want you to help me to clear my doubt…
Have you watched my free lectures on swaps because then it should be clear to you exactly why a swap may give a net benefit and answer your question 🙂
It is not something you really can (or should) learn simply as a rule.
