I have read a ton of ifrs 15 articles including the official and ias plus but they didn’t specifically mention construction contracts. I am so confused right now. I know IFRS 15 replaced IAS 11 but there is not mention of them anywhere including the syllabus. Just wanted to ask that are they still examinable?

Yes, mentioned in the syllabus is something about ways of calculating appropriate revenue so the chapter in the course notes dealing with construction contract revenue is still applicable, so far as I can tell!

Thank you so much Mike, and for this awesome resource called OT. I’ve been studying with ALP but they complicated this topic so much, I literally didn’t know what I was studying, and started hoping for exclusion of this topic from exam (lol). I just read the construction contracts chapter from OT notes and believe me, I feel confident now and everything made sense. Sometimes, people complicate the simplest things
