1 If there are long-term benefits to future investors this should help to boost current share prices and so will also benefit current shareholders.
2 Good PR should help trading and profits.
3 Probably not. Sustainable fishing could mean lowering current catches and sales so lowering current profits.
4 Sustainability and efficiency are not simply linked. Efficient production could mean less waste so that will increase sustainability. However, sustainability will not increase efficiency. For example, if catches are to be lower for each visit to fishing grounds fewer fish can be caught and that lowers efficiency if measured by Tonnes of fish/miles sailed.
