Hi..john sir:
Plz explain me following.
There is an inventory of total 100,000 units, out of which 85% are units of invetory A type and 50% of inventory B type. How many units are of type A inventory A type unventory B type..
Plz explain..if question is wrong then make the wordinng of question coreect plz…i’ll b very thankful to u..
If type A material is 85% of then it should be 85000 and type B should b 50,000..it comes to 135000 total units..but total laptops are 100000..
Solution is as follow.
=85%+50%
=135%
Now
85/135×100,000= 62962
50/135×100,000=37037
But it does’t make any sense to me..i guess wording is not ok..
Are you sure that you have copied the wording of the question correctly? If you have, then the wording of it is complete nonsense 🙂
If it is an ACCA question, or a question from the current edition of the BPP Revision Kit, then tell me which one and I will check for myself.
