Hi all,
Is the next committee meeting on the 26th November i.e. this week?
I applied for membership last week, still pending.
Am I too late to get the certificate sealed in this weeks meeting?November 22, 2016 at 11:06 am #350602Hi All
Good news i got accepted as a member and to my surprise i just received a statement saying you owing £452, for membership and subscription fee.
Do we have to pay membership fee before we receive our certificates.
I was not expecting this bill money is tight.
December 9, 2016 at 10:31 pm #362863Did you receive certificates issued on November, 26?
December 9, 2016 at 10:39 pm #362869Absolutely gutted at ACCA!! My membership got sealed on 15th sep and i still have not received my certificate! ! I have followed up numerous times but more disappointment! ! Its tough for us to study hard for 3 years as is and the institution then making us wait for more than 6 weeks is just abhorrent! ! I even paid my membership in June, before receiving MY certificate! Just disgusted at the attitude and service!
December 16, 2016 at 7:18 pm #363868Well, it does not sound like they pay much attention to new members – I imagine there could be a better service, especially while they charge us over GBP200 for the membership submission. On the other hand, they remind me about the annual subscription regularly, even if it is still a few weeks before the payment deadline.
December 22, 2016 at 2:29 pm #364251Anyone received their certificate from the sealing on 26 November? Said 6 weeks and perhaps I am just being restless …..

I’m in Malaysia and I have not received the membership certificate or the welcome pack. Has anyone already received theirs?
December 29, 2016 at 10:02 am #364616My certificate was sealed on 26 Nov but haven’t received certificate or welcome pack yet.
One of my friend who became member last yer told me he received his certificate almost after three months time. Maybe we have to wait for bit longer.December 31, 2016 at 10:01 am #364713I have not received my pack too – I live in EU.
January 5, 2017 at 12:02 pm #365233I have passed all my exams, have worked the relevant time in practice however I have no idea how to write the PER statements, would anyone have any examples so that I know where to start? I am 8 years in practice and really want to apply for my Acca membership as soon as possible,
January 5, 2017 at 12:57 pm #365244I received my membership certificate of 26 November 2016 Meeting.
January 6, 2017 at 4:08 pm #365345Hi Nasreldin

Anyone else received certificate shipped on 26 Nov?January 8, 2017 at 4:06 pm #365636i received mine today.
January 11, 2017 at 6:43 pm #366083Received today.
Disappointed as the pin included in the pack caused a hole on the certificate.. I will call and complain right now. It is not correct that we paid lots of fees to get such a bad service.January 12, 2017 at 1:38 pm #366153AnonymousInactive- Topics: 0

I received mine today
January 17, 2017 at 2:59 pm #367946Hi
Can someone kindly assist me.
I want to apply for membership. I am required to input an address on MyAcca.
Is this the address that the certificate is shipped to ?
I live in South Africa and would prefer the certificate sent to my post box at the post office.
Can I then put this as my address? Many thanks.
January 20, 2017 at 8:38 am #368509Sign into your account.
go to the access my online experience record link.
in there you need to complete the objectives. under each objective relate it to your working experience in not less than 200 words. You need to have a supervisor who is a qualified Accountant.
How to get signed off.
Under each employer you have worked for you need to add a supervisor and put the supervisors email address. ACCA will send the supervisor the objectives which have responded to in not less than 200 words.for the supervisor to access your objectives you need to claim the objectives by clicking the caim link. As you click claim under each objective there is a little basket that is receiving the claims by way of numbering ie 1-20. Double click the basket the filled basket in order to transfer the objectives to your supervisor.
I hope this is helpfull.

Next council meeting is scheduled to take place on March 11, 2017.
January 25, 2017 at 9:05 pm #369575Council meetings and committee meetings are different.
Memberships are approved by ACCA staff then confirmed by the committee meeting held every 2 weeks. This meeting is what you need to become a member.
Council meetings are 5 times per year (march 11th next) and that’s were certificates are finalised. For most this is irrelevant as the certificate isn’t truly needed.
There was a committee meeting late last week, Friday I think.
I passed my last exam last week, applied on Monday. Approved on Wednesday and membership was granted on Friday afternoon.
So I spent 4 days as an Affiliate!

Well that is disappointing”
I applied for membership on 16 January 2017 and still waiting for any response. I was under the impression the committee would meet this Friday. Hopefully I do not have to wait another week!
Desperate to explore the job market but only want to do so with my membership status.
