Quick question re PER, i am currently writing my perf objectives. Please can someone who has completed and signed off tell me if the word limit is 300 words. can it be bit more say 350? has someone’s PER got rejected if you exceeded the word limit by only a tad bit? thanks!! i need to submit this week as im impatient now so any help would be appreciated!Hi guys.
This is in relation to ACCA membership – those who have received their membership certificates.
Could you provide me your country of residence and the time taken after the council sign-off for the certificates to actually arrive.
Because 6 weeks is a really long time to wait, but does it actually take this long to come?

I haven’t received certificate yet. I got admitted into membership in April following last exam in March

I passed my final exam (woo) and went to apply for ACCA membership through the portal. I put in all my details and submitted the application and it was acknowledge in the next page.
However, I didn’t receive any notification via email so I’m a little curious if this is still ok. I’m sure it is, but it would have been nice to receive an email notification saying that the application for membership has been received and is expected to be dealt with in “x” time.Edit: nvm … The portal has a track the progress. Should have looked there first.

I am based in Sri Lanka, does anyone knows how long it will take to reach ACCA membership certificate to South Asian region.
Just received my ACCA membership certificate yesterday, here in kingdom of Bahrain, GCC middle east. Indeed a proud moment. Took exact 5 weeks from 20th june signing date till today 25th July. I gues regions below like sri lanka will should receive in a day or two from today.
I would like to ask, when is the best moment to apply for membership? I read that there are some “council membership meetings” which take place only a few times during the year? When is the next one expected?
Has anyone got the per statements examples? As I have no idea what to write!

Affiliate: Apr 2016
Objectives: Signed off 22 Jul 2016
Membership Applied: 24 Jul 2016
Email received: 28 July 2016 confirming Approval (Graduate pending member)
Status changed to member on 29 July 2016
Certificate will be sealed on 15 Sep 2016.ACCA exams, membership journey over. Only CPD
Has anyone received their certificate yet that was sealed at the 15th September 16 council meeting?
I know it can take up to 6 weeks but I’m getting impatient! haha
I am yet to receive my certificate either. My admission to membership was approved on 22 July 2016?
How do you know that the certificate was sealed in the September council meeting, or is that because it was the next council meeting since transfer to membership?

I had to provide more evidence on my work experience element, so they replied to that email saying that my certificate would be sealed at the council meeting on the 15th Sept. I’d imagine yours was too if you were approved in July 🙂
I was admitted to membership in July too, and although was advised it could take 6 weeks from the sealing date of the 15th September for the membership certificate to arrive, I’m getting rather impatient and wish it would chuffing hurry up!!! 🙂 🙂

The term Technical is what gets me wary. I need guidance on how exactly I am to record these practical experience under this section.

Hey , Anyone here who have been transferred to ACCA Membership & waiting to for membership certificate,as they have sent an email stating: Your membership certificate will be sealed at the next meeting of ACCA Council which is scheduled to take place on 15 September 2016.

How long did it take for ACCA to confirm you as a member/grant membership. Could you please tell me how much time it took after you applied for membership and how long they took to confirm it ?Hi all i am so happy i just applied for my membership on the 20th Oct and i am still waiting for confirmation they said it will be processed by the end of this week and i should hear from them.

I received my email stating they received my application and now myacca shows graduate pending i am not sure how long it will be before i am a full member.
Do we have to pay for membership now or wait until we receive certificates?????
