Hello,
I had undergone an ostomy surgery 1.5 years back and had not taken up exams in the last few sessions due to my health complications. I decided to have a go this time with AFM and had not applied for any additional support. However, on the day of the exam, I had a few issues and lost quite a bit of time. Though I did manage to cover a fair bit of the exam, the time I lost would have been very valuable.
While I do not have any evidence to show the issues that I had during the exam, I do have all the medical records to explain my health condition.
I would like to know if I can apply for mitigating circumstances.
There’s nothing to be lost in making an application.
Thanks Kim, for your response.
I did manage to submit the request. However, I did not receive any acknowledgement on screen or over mail.
The screen just reloaded upon submission and said I do not have any exam sitting for the current session.
Is there any way I can check if my request was successful.
I don’t have any visibility into the workings of myACCA – I suggest you write directly to https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/footer-toolbar/contact-us.html to ask for confirmation of submission
