    Hello ,

I have recently started ACCA having a background of AAT, and wish to give my first exam on Oct 22 i.e Applied skills -Corporate and Business law.

Would you recommend giving this as a first paper? I believe it’s on-demand and I can schedule any time.

    Please advice

    Many thanks

I have no problem with you ‘getting law out of the way’ first. It doesn’t lead directly in to any subsequent paper in the ACCA exams Acquire a revision kit from one of the approved publishers – you can take advantage of a 20% discount if you acquire BPP study material through this site – just click on the yellow box on the right of this page

DO NOT buy a study text. Just a revision kit should be sufficient which together with the course notes and videos should be ample for you to achieve a good pass mark

However … simply acquiring a revision kit is clearly not enough! You’ll need to open it and then spend endless hours going over and over and over the exam-style and exam -standard questions in that kit. When attempting questions from the kit, write your answer selections not in the book itself but on a separate piece of paper. That way, when you revisit the questions, you will not be distracted by previous answer attempts

And, when you hit a brick wall, post again on this site and I shall get back to you

    OK
