Dear sir,
Liam was convicted a criminal offence by a Magistrate’s court.
If Liam has grounds to appeal, which court will the case move to the next?
I think the answer is Crown Court but the correct answer is High Court.
Can u explain me why?
Thanks.
If the appeal is on the grounds of a misinterpretation of law (or the wrong application of the law by the magistrates) then appeal will be to the High Court
Otherwise appeal will be to the Crown Court
I don’t think that you have given me full information about Liam’s case and court hearing!
Dear sir,
The question is included in the BPP mock exam of MCQs.
In real exam, are there any possibility like this question?
There’s always a chance! However, the examiner will phrase a question such that there is little chance for misinterpretation or misunderstanding
Thank you sir. As I have to sit exam tomorrow and your inputs and explanations help me a lot. Thank you again.
You’re welcome and good luck
Dear sir,
I got 90% in the exam and thanks for your guidance and inputs.
Thank you.
Well! That’s not a bad score is it!
Very well done – I’m already looking forward to seeing you on the F7 pages
