Hello everyone . I am attempting 3 professional papers this december(p2,p4,p7) ,I am a full time student studying at a tuition provider and so far things are going great and i am motivated but sometimes it feels like a distant dream to pass three professional papers in one attempt. So has anyone of you here passed three p series papers in one and first attempt? If yes then please also state which papers did you pass and how much did you study?

I did not do 3 P paper at once because am working full time but the combination you are doing is very good. P2 and P4 are related and P2 is also related to P7 some the overlaps between them will helps you a lot,
given that you are full time student, i would encourage you to go for it. do not worry about Failing a paper. it is normal, and when you repeat a paper you gain a lot more understanding about the syllabus content. besides be positive and have a can do attitude. since you reach this level, i see no reason why you cannot do it. so go it a go!!!!!!!!!!!
    good luck

I became a full time student (self study but) to give 3 professional level papers (my last exams of ACCA) in Dec session. All these years (about 6 years) I have been a full time working student . I am attempting P3,P4 & P5. I never attempted more than 2 papers in one sitting before.

I have resigned my last job in August to complete ACCA and would only start working after December. I think I would be able to secure a pass on all three in December.

Given the fact that you have tuition support, I do not see any difficulty for you to clear 3 exams in one sittings. I suggest do not get intimidated by hearing or reading ” Professional level exams”, instead understand the fact that all the professional level exams are an extension of a previously tested paper with more of analysis, interpretation, advise, recommend, evaluate, suggest, discuss, report and assess a given scenario/financial statements/business strategic and operational results. Computational elements in this level of papers are very minimal and no computational questions are free of discursive element. The key to pass these exams is to have a reasonable degree of writing and presentation ability in English language while you get a grip of the core area of each paper.
I wish you all the best

I passed P2, P3 and P6 in one sitting, whilst working 4 days per week (54%, 76% and 67% respectively).

I actually found it easier to knuckle down and study in that ‘3 exam sitting’ rather when I just sat just one exam (P7) in the last sitting!

I found the key is to practice as many exam questions as possible.

Also I have previously been absolutely bob on with my timings in other exams but I did find the P papers very demanding in this respect – stay focussed, do not panic and be disciplined enough to stick to your timings (and move on if you over-run) Rather than the 1.8 minutes per mark, I found 1.6 minutes per mark works very well – gives you a little time to review your answers.

    Hope this helps!

I’m now qualified and hope you will be soon too, good luck 🙂

I am working in audit company and all assistants of auditors are studing ACCA. 4 of my collegues have passed 3 professional papers at once. We usually take a 2-3 week vacation before exam, all rest time we are working 5 days at week.

I just passed fundamental level and will attempt 1 proffessional book at this session.
Also. as you can noticed, english is not my native language.

So, I consider everyone can pass 3 papeprs if will do his best.

I am looking to write three professional papers this coming exam diet (December) P1,P2,and P3. I have heard people say all manner of things like “Oh! is it possible!” “Is it not too much” some down right tell me that “i should write only 2 papers because it is not possible”. I have shut them all out in my head and i am paying attention to my strategy. I have written three fundamental papers before and i passed all three that was in the June 2012 diet. So, i say plan well and don’t let any one tell you what you can do.

I took P1, P5 and P7 in one sitting last December. Actually the marks was not very super, but still – 53,53,55. In the preparation stage, i was happy that P5 had a lot of in common with P3. P7 was not difficult as i was working in PwC for 3 years and P1 was actually interesting as it was not about the figures :). So in total i spend two weeks in courses for P1 and P5 and took about 10 working days (x8 hours) for additional preparation. The more studied, the more i was afraid of all of the exams. But still, if you are concentrated and not leave any exam without attention, it is possible. Good luck for everyone! As I already have my CERTIFICATE :))
