    Hello all,

How is everyone finding P6? I’m resitting and feel overwhelmed with the amount of specific info it’s necessary to remember in order to interpret the questions and answer precisely.

Just thought I’d drop a note to see if anyone else feel similar or if anyone has any suggestions for the last few days before the big event!

im on my 2nd attempt this week, its my last paper.

I wouldn’t say I am struggling with it, last time round I really didn’t give it enough effort, but yes I agree it is an incredibly intense paper. I think it can be broken into managable chunks, Income tax, CGT and IHT, VAT and corporation tax, but there are so many rules

Having said that, I do quite enjoy tax, which i think makes it easier

I feel in a good place for Friday, but that doesn’t mean anything most of the time

I’m pulling my hair out because the syllabus is so MASSIVE!!!

I struggle to remember all the reliefs and the rules applying with them and hate all the SAYE stuff because each scheme is different.

I hope that a nice 20 mark question comes up on IHT because I am happy with that.

Just remember that professional marks because I really believe those 4 on offer will be the difference between pass and fail.

    Hello,
    Thanks for your replies!

I know how you feel – I’m swinging from thinking I can do this to thinking I don’t know anything at all! Argh!

Turning over the paper is the worst bit – seeing there is stuff I don’t remember the details of!
    Fingers crossed…

This is my last exam so desperately hoping I just get the 50!
