(I understand the new 7-year rule to complete the professional level exams.) But my question is whether there is any time limit to acquire the 3-year working experience?
Suppose I have passed all 14 examinations today but I fail to have any relevant working experience over the next 10 years. Do I have to retake the examinations 10 years later?
January 4, 2016 at 7:45 pm #293449I will like to know this as well, what happens if we don’t complete our relative working experience and don’t become a member? Do we lose our affiliate status after a certain time or what?
January 5, 2016 at 6:54 pm #293538I don’t believe you lose affiliate status. As far as I am aware though I would be interested if anyone has contradictory information. My recollection is there was no specific time limit on gaining relevant experience and that this experience could be gained before, during and/or after studying for the qualification.

If anyone has any information otherwise, I’d like to hear about it too. But if that were the case the ACCA would be at the backs of all Affiliates reminding them that their Affiliate status was at risk.
Yes, while pursuing the US CPA this definitely is a factor. And you do end up losing your exam passes (assuming you have passed them all) if you don’t gain the state-stupilated WorkEx in the designated time-frame.
January 13, 2016 at 12:51 pm #294337I also would like to know this, and also how the work experience is proved? ACCA will contact the related employer(s), or we need just to get the employer(s) to fill in a for and submit to ACCA?
