respeted tutor,
i am so much confused abt firstly, in consolidation, which is most important either consolidated balancesheet or comprehensive income..or cashflow..
secondly, abt current issue, tht which ias or ifrs are in progress.. plz do let me know as soon as possible..
i’ll be very thankful for ur kind act..All cconsolidations are equally important. remember that, having passed this exam and the other 4 P papers, you’ll then be qualified to prepare the most extreme consolidation exercise for the most complex group of international companies the World has ever seen. You can’t say “I’ll just do the Statement of Financial Position because that’s the easiest! “
Current issues? Not really been a lot coming up this last 6 months, unless I’ve missed them. Could be a reconstruction question – and there are not many examples in the revisiion kit!
