How can you claim that this is urgent and that I should give my immediate attention to it.

Were you surprised earlier this week (maybe even just this morning) when your boss said “Jazi, you’ll be doing the F4 exam next week for the second time. Maybe you should do some revision for it. No, leave it a bit longer – the exam is not until next Monday”?

    How can it be urgent?

If I were to treat this request with the same urgency that you have demonstrated since you got your result in 10 months ago, I should be planning to respond shortly after your June 2014 results are announced.

What does it say on the front of your study text? Does it give dates for the date up to when it is relevant?

Briefly, I imagine that the Bribery Act and Treasury Shares are not included within the text.

The other matter which has changed is the variation of Incoterms re the carriage of goods. There is a good chance that even an up-to-date study text is incorrect. There’s an article by a law person in technical articles on the F4 page of this site:-

ICC introduces new international commercial terms
This article discusses International Commercial Terms – or ‘Incoterms’ – which are often found in international trade contracts.

    Bribery Act 2010
Focusing on the Bribery Act 2010, this article considers the likely key role accountants will play in reviewing organisational risks relating to bribery, and implementing adequate procedures and controls.
