Can i get the answers for part a mcq questions for paper f5 june 2015 sitting
June 3, 2015 at 12:13 pm #252422The ACCA is not releasing the Section A questions this time.
Therefore I have not seen (and will not see) the questions, and therefore I cannot upload my suggested answers (and the ACCA will not be releasing official answers to Section A either).
June 3, 2015 at 2:23 pm #252471Hi John,
I assume that you mean they are not releasing Section A Q&As until the results are out? Or do you mean they won’t release them at all? As someone suggested on the other thread to build up a bank for future use?
Would be a nightmare if that was the case!!
June 3, 2015 at 3:50 pm #252535No – they will not be releasing them at all.
I don’t know why you say it will be a nightmare?
Seeing them will not change your marks. We keep repeating that everyone should have a Revision Kit, and for future exams then if you have a Revision Kit you will have more than enough exam-standard MCQ’s to practice on.
They have never released the MCQ’s for Papers F1, F2 and F3 (which have had MCQ’s for a long time) and it has not caused a problem.
June 3, 2015 at 5:49 pm #252625I wasn’t thinking so much of this exam (although it would be nice to know how I did on Section A) but more for future exams.
I know the revision kits have practice MCQs but there is nothing like doing actual past papers for preparation and, because the style has changed, there was only one actual paper and the specimen to practice on this time.
I was hoping my next one (F8 assuming I pass these three) would give me another full ACCA past paper.
Not knocking BPP or Kaplan but this batch of revision kits didn’t cope very well with the change as you know – modified questions leaving out information needed etc.
Didn’t know about F1-F3 so I suppose it makes sense to put them in line.
Thanks for clarifying.
June 3, 2015 at 6:48 pm #252675I agree with you about the errors in BPP and Kaplan. However, I am sure that the new editions will have sorted things so that it will not be a problem for your next papers 🙂
(and, of course, you can always ask in the relevant Ask the Tutor Forums if any of the answers do not seem right 🙂 )
June 4, 2015 at 9:03 am #252945Oh, I will!
Thanks again John – you are fabulous!
June 4, 2015 at 12:41 pm #253008“Seeing them will not change your marks.”
Yes but , when I see that I have at least 12 correct answers I ll be happy and give attention to other books
tomorrow I have F9 and I ll spend 5 minutes to learn questions 😀June 4, 2015 at 1:31 pm #253027Yes – but how would you feel if you did not have at least 12 correct answers!!
Anyway, there is nothing I can do about it – it is up to the ACCA 🙁
June 4, 2015 at 11:29 pm #253420The paper F6 has been uploaded :/
Now tell us the answersJune 5, 2015 at 7:36 am #253495First, don’t give orders!!
Second, there is not much point in posting this in the F5 forum. I don’t teach F6!
June 5, 2015 at 10:44 am #253556I very much doubt that the options were all wrong.
I have not seen Section A – the ACCA are not releasing it – and so I cannot check.
(If there was more than one product, then maybe you were confusing sales quantity variance with sales volume variance?)
The ACCA have very sophisticated ways of checking the exams. If there was a mistake (which I doubt) then many will have got it wrong. The computer will report this and the question will be checked again.
June 5, 2015 at 2:55 pm #253639Which contribution figure have you used? With weighted average figure I found the correct answer.
June 6, 2015 at 9:26 am #254394Please discuss the exam in the thread in the general forum that is devoted to the June exam – not in this Ask the Tutor Forum 🙂
