In ACCA most of the papers ask us to write answer by responding to Email or writing report.
I want ask regarding format of the report….
Please correct me if my way of answering is wrong
Introduction: Two lines discussing that report contents (nothing just
writing questions parts like following report contains calculation for WACC.
Then all calculations and in last one line Conclusion.
In kit or answers calculations are shown in Appendix and report contains discussion, Is it necessary to separate calculation from discussion usually question doesn’t require discussion just ask for so I think we can just write two or three lines along with calculation.
You can have your calculations within the report, but it is better to keep them separate as an appendix. It makes it easier for the marker (and makes it more certain that you will get the professional marks).
Best is to do the calculations first (and head those pages up as appendix). The write the report on a new page, and make references back to the appendix. It does not matter that the report comes after the appendix.
