new product column in ansoff matrix.
does it refer to an unrelated product or can it include a differentiated product? it might be an unrelated product but I want to confirm it.

Has to be a different product that would sell to the same marker otherwise you mover down to differentiation.
Unrelated products will also most certainly imply different markets.
