Taken P5 three times – 34%, 43% and 37% (although I was late for that one). Not sure what to do now or what I can do to pass. Feel I’ve followed most of the guidance. Any advice would be appreciated.
January 26, 2018 at 7:43 am #433078Sorry to hear about your difficulties. I don’t know where you based, but if possible you should attend a revision course. That will a?ow question practice under guidance.
I know you have invested a lot in this paper but it might be worth looking at an alternative one. Look at our notes, lectures and recent ACCA exams.
If you stick with P5, you must know the theories by now so your problems must lie in answer technique. You might have hesrd thus before, but:
1 Be very careful to address the question requirements accurately.
2 Respond to the data in the question.
3 Write enough. At least 1.25 pages per 10 marks.
4 Allocate time and ensure that every part of every question is properly attempted.
January 27, 2018 at 12:26 pm #433423Thanks for your reply. Haven’t heard of 1.25 pages per 10 marks before. I’m leaning towards trying something else. Managed to pass Advanced Tax first time.
