I worked as junior auditor for 3 years.
I Find that they did not make Analysis procedure to with budget why?I must say that my experience was often different. Where a reasonable budget was available, we did compare actual to the budget and enquire about significant differences. However, it must be said that many smaller clients had no budgets so comparison wasn’t possible. Or, if they had a budget, the budgeting process was so poor that comparison would be pointless.
