Hi everybody,
I am 53 years old. I am working in a shipping company and I want to update my knowledge and qualification by doing ACCA. I believe that ACCA is a strong qualification and get me in a Management position easier than doing an MBA. I have a BSc in business administration, an MSc in Shipping and also I used to be a CPA. Then I changed career and joined a shipping company in the operation department. Do you think that is too late for me the completion of ACCA? I have nine exemptions , I have to pass the advanced level. However It will be difficult for me because I the last year that I dealt with auditing and accounting was in 2007. Do you think that I am late?

Strategic Business Reporting may be a challenge if your accounting knowledge is rusty – BUT ACCA’s SBR course in the Study Hub – and the free materials offered by OpenTuition include all the essential assumed knowledge of the underpinning exam (FInancial Reporting).
You can forget about auditing entirely if you wish and study for the Advanced Performance Management and Advanced Financial Management options instead.
