    Hello John

    Why is it that in this question the gain/loss on futures is calculated as [(9,616 – 9,602) ×
    €25 × 37]?

    In your lectures, you’ve mentioned the need to divide the difference in interest rates by 400, however, when I try doing the same here, I don’t get the figure given in the answer key.

    Oh, nevermind, I got the answer! I do think using ticks is quite cumbersome. Is it necessary to use ticks in the exam?

    Although it is as well to understand ticks, you do not need to use them in the exam (and I never do 🙂 )
