It depends how much time you have available for studying, and how easy or difficult you find each of the papers as you are working through our free lectures.

How should I plan my studies so that I can give paper in three months

If you look at the index of our lectures then you will see that the time each one takes is noted against each lecture. So if you calculate how much time you have available for studying you can then schedule when you are going to watch each of the lectures.

However do make sure that you leave one or two weeks free before the date of the exam to work through all of the questions in your Revision Kit. (It is essential that you buy a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA Approved Publishers because it is full of past exam questions to practice, and practice is vital to passing the exam.)

You should attempt all of the questions in the Revision Kit at least once – after you have finished studying all of the topics.

When I do the practice questions from the kit and get a question wrong, I used to put it on the ask the tutor forum even those questions that I get right, and also those questions that I get wrong but understand after looking at the answer. This takes up a huge amount of time and causes my brain to get tired after doing a few questions and causes frustration. I am unable to move on. I can not stop myself from posting those questions that I get right. my problem is serious. This is causing me to think to stop studying. What should I do?

The posts that you have made relating to your previous exams suggest that you are not watching the lectures but that you are attempting questions from the Revision Kit without having first studied the topics thoroughly.

That is pointless. You need to study properly first – either by watching all of our lectures or by working completely through a Study Text. Only after completing your studying should you then spend time working through all of the questions in your Revision Kit. If then you have problems understanding the answers in the Revision Kit then you should watch the relevant lecture again, and only if you are still not clear should you ask in the Ask the Tutor Forum.

As has been made clear to you before, we do not offer private tuition. We are here to help with problems arising while watching our lectures and with problems arising from attempting questions after having watched our lectures.

You should practice the questions from the kit at least once. Work through the answers especially of the questions that you got wrong or part wrong.

Try and identify what you did. Was it a lack of understanding or something you just can’t do.
Work on those questions and the areas you have realised you have a knowledge gap.

Don’t spend time and energy working through questions you have got correct.
The most important thing is closing your knowledge gaps, making sure you are ready and in the right mind set for studying and building on your confidence.
