    Hello guys,

I am going to take the Dec 2013 diet for P6 & P7, do you guys recommend bpp or kaplan textbook? I am afraid that bpp textbook is thick and I may not have enough time to go throug the book.

    For P6.
I would advise doing the BPP P6 I-learn as a warm up. Melville Taxation as revision from F6, and Kaplan study text for P6. Yes its thick (biggest of all the texts) but it is absolutely crammed with examples to work through. Aim for a chapter of Melville and a chapter of the Kaplan text per day and you will be though it all faster than you think… And then onto the revision kit!

    For P7.
All of the Opentuition lectures then I use the Kaplan text but for this paper there is less between Kaplan and BPP than some of the others (at P2 there was no competition as Kaplan won hands down with its read, try, repeat with more complexity approach).
This is a very, very time pressured paper so its almost a case of get through one of the books then do as much exam practice under exam conditions as possible as invariably it will be time rather than any lack of knowledge that beats you on the day with this paper.

And on that note time to brush off the reams of index cards and sort out my own study plan ready for December (really thought that I had passed P7 this June).

    Good luck in December.
    kind regards,
    Shaun.
