I am attending AFM in the sept 2022 session, I haven been through ot lectures and notes once and I am currently preparing from the BPP rev kit in the final leg of the race,I seem to struggle in the theory aspect ,it just appears to come out of nowhere, any pointer for preparing AFM theory with one month to exam left.Would going through technical articles be enough?

Certainly you should go through the technical articles on the ACCA website. However the best way of learning the theory is from attempting all the questions in your Revision Kit and learning from the answers.

Thank you Sir, for your prompt reply.I just wanted to know if getting thorough with the theory in the BPP rev kit would be enough to scrap a pass mark along with the technical articles? Also do you think 8 hours a day on the rev kit and articles for the next 29 days would be sufficient to tackle the syllabus? Bit anxious, your advice will be much valued.

What you intend doing and the time you have available should certainly be enough for you to be able to pass the exam.

As you work through the questions in the Revision Kit (and importantly attempt each question yourself before looking at the answer), then for both calculations and for written parts if anything isn’t clear then look back at the relevant lectures and if still not clear then ask in this forum 🙂

    Dear Mr Moffat,

I appreciate the replies once again,I just want to know if skipping the technical article to be more thorough with bpp rev kit would be advisable, as I am going through the bpp kit (new edition) it appears to take more time than initially expected and would require further revision.Due to the time constraints i have ,makes it very difficult to be thorough with both. What would be your take on this?

I really cannot add to what I have already written 🙂
