Hi Sir & everyone, I am new member on Open Tuition and I am planning to take AFM exam on Sep 2024. My questions are as follow:

    1. The lecture note and BPP book is at the moment available up to June 2024. Can I study with that material first considering there are some changes in the syllabus?

    2. When will the Sep 2024 AFM material be available?

    3. I was exempted in F9 and try to do AFM exam in 2022 but failed twice. In order to pass this exam, how many hours of study per day you would recommend?

Thank you and happy to start my ACCA journey with Opentuition!

    1. There may be changes in the syllabus for the September 2024 exams, but it will be surprising if they turn out to be significant and so you should start studying using the current material.

    2. The ACCA has not yet announced the syllabus for exams after June 2024, and so BPP cannot prepare new material until the ACCA has issued the new syllabus.

    3. It is impossible to give a number of hours because everyone is different as to how easy or how difficult they find the paper. Given that you were exempted from Paper F9 (which is now Paper FM) I would suggest that you start working through our notes and lectures for Paper AFM but as soon as you come to something that you are not happy with then that you go back and look at the relevant notes and lectures on the topic from Paper FM.
