    can somebody please tell me whether there has been any changes in the syllabus or paper pattern as I have material that is a year old?

    If you look at the very last page of the syllabus, you will see that the only addition to the syllabus is the addition of initial coin offering to the sources of finance list (which is a very minor change and does not involve calculations).

    Dear John, I sat for the December 2019 AFM exam, it looks like the ACCA has only published the September 2019 paper instead of a mixture of questions from both September and December. What determines ”which” questions are published on the mixed paper?

    Hi @plm005,

    You must ask in the Ask the Tutor Forum if you want the Tutor to answer. This forum is for students to help each other.

    But to answer your query, well the determination of which questions are published are at the discretion of the examiner. Whichever questions the examiner finds relevant for students to practice, they publish those. It is just a myth that mixed questions from each sitting will be published – an assumption that students are making and nothing more.

    Correct – there are no changes to the exam format.
