Dear Sir,
In the answer of Q2, SD2019 (Stent Co), regarding to ethics aspects:
“the financial director faces an advocacy threat by promoting accounting treatment which compromise objectivity”.Could you please help me to explain what means “advocacy threat ” in this case and give me some examples of this threat ?

Advocacy means aligning yourself with someone’s point of view. It would be like me going to court to defend my brother. It’s a tricky one to explain and you can usually achieve the same mark by using self-interest threat.
Thank you.I understand your example and self interest threat But I still do not understand advocacy threat in case of Q2 SD19.Could you please explain more.
