Hi all~ I’ve just completed my Fundamental papers and would like to move on to my Professional papers. Was just wondering what would be the best way to pair up the topics if I were to do only 2 papers in the December 2010 sitting(i.e. P1&P2, P2&P3 or P1&P3)? I was thinking of taking one of the easiest and one of the hardest as I’m planning to do them through distance learning. Thanks for all the feedback~ 🙂

    hi,

I would take P1&P3 together. They are very much linked and its all theory.
P2 is more difficult and more numbers based.

Although P3 also goes well with P5. It all depedns on what option papers you are planning to do.

I picked exams that were interlinked and also looked at exam dates. I had at aleast day in between exams. ie. P1 is on mondays and P3 on wednesdays.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi,

I was never notified of a response to my post! I only saw it now when I was looking for advice on how to pick my option papers.

Thanks for your reply though! But I actually took P1 and P2 together since I had no idea which to pick at the time. And you were so right. It would have been great to have at least a day in between exams. I was panicking after my first paper as I did not have time to rest in between!

If you could, would you advice me on which paper to take for the option papers? I’m doing distance learning and I’m from Malaysia. I had thought of taking P6 and P7. But there isn’t a Malaysian variant for tax in distance learning. So is it better to take P4 or P5? I will also be taking P3.

    Thank you so much! 🙂
