hello everyone!
What is the best method to do revision for FM?
Doing the past papers or the bpp online revision kit?
as doing both will be more time consuming because i go back to which questions i get wrong and learn it and retry the same exam to make sure i can clear those type of questions.
Thanks.
Manan
I hope somebody will be able to answer this as I am also looking for advises for FM
You MUST use a Revision Kit from one of the ACCA approved publishers (BPP or Kaplan).
The revision kits contain all relevant past exam questions (not all past exam questions are relevant because of syllabus changes), together with many other exam-standard questions.
Practicing just the past exams on the ACCA website is nothing like enough practice if you are to be confident of passing the exam.
My advice would be to do both. Start your revision doing groups of multiple choice questions from the revision kit. Do 20 or so questions, mark them, check any that you got wrong and note down areas where you are repeatedly making mistakes. Do this for a while and then go back and revise areas where you are weaker. You will gradually see your marks improve.
After practicing only multiple choice questions for a while, then start to add in the longer questions from section C. Do one at a time, mark it straight after and investigate where you have dropped marks. Keep noting down areas where you are weaker and revise these.
As you get closer to the exam, start doing past papers or specimen papers under timed conditions.
Thank you
