When there is material uncertainity for going concern and FS do not give adequate diclosure about it, as the result of which adverse opinion will be issued…is it so that “emphasis of matter paragraph” or “material uncertainity for going concern” will be also included ?
Or this is the case that ..when an adverse opinion is issued, no need to include these info. ?
If it’s a while since you downloaded the notes (before December) please download again and refer to sections 3, 4 and 9 of Chapter 6 for more detail. In short:
– There is NEVER EoM in relation to going concern
– MURGC only applies where there is adequately disclosure
So it’s not a case of “no need”, it would be wrong.
