I passed my RAP Period 43 and achieved an A grade for the Research Project!!! My mentor Irwin Loh has given me very good guidance so that I was able to complete it within a limited period. Big thank you to my mentor Irwin Loh from The Learning Luminarium who helped me to achieve this first-time pass! Highly recommend it and good luck to you all!!
March 23, 2022 at 4:09 pm #651732I highly recommend Ms. Gillian Moorse from Absolute Mentoring. I’m glad that I have successfully passed my RAP project for topic 17 corporate governance for the period 43 in the first attempt.
I was initially very scared and clueless about how to approach this RAP process but Ms. Gillian was extremely sweet and guided me throughout this process. She is a highly experienced as a former OBU RAP marker and brings in her unique expertise, gives detailed feedback and gives you a structured format that helps you stay organized, she also responds promptly and is always there to help when you get stuck or have any doubts.
She is very professional in her approach and I was able to learn a lot from this experience and totally enjoyed working with her and would definitely recommend her. You can totally trust her!March 23, 2022 at 9:45 pm #651759Hi All,
For those, who searching for a good and supportive OBU RAP mentor, i advise you to approach The Learning Luminarium – Irwin and his Partner. Irwin was my mentor for my RAP 43. He was a supportive and approachable mentor and person. He responded to my questions promptly and provided me with insights of how a good Research and Analysis should be.They can be reached via email address: admin@learningluminarium.com
March 24, 2022 at 1:36 am #651766I would like to thank to and highly recommend Gillian Moorse from Absolute Mentoring, as I could not have asked for a better mentor.
I managed to pick a very difficult corporation for my Topic 17 assessment and was massively overwhelmed with the information I needed to process for the project. However thanks to her remarkable expertise, constant and highly professional support along with the invaluable advice on how to enhance my RAP always a little further, I managed to achieve a Grade A on my first attempt while also learning lots of useful details about corporate governance in the process.March 24, 2022 at 2:21 am #651767I passed my Rap in period 43 first attempt and achieved Upper Second Class Honours all with the help and mentor-ship of Adrian Tan. When I started my search for a mentor, I came here and saw a few services and I reached out to one such but the poor communication turned me off and so I reached out to Learning Luminarium and Adrian answered all my queries in a timely manner before I even decided to register. The service was also more cost effective that the first one I reached out to and the guidance provided definitely helped me to pass despite doing topic 5 which I suspect was marked harsher because of how frequently it was done. If you want a mentor that will be honest and is knowledgeable of the requirements to pass then look no further than https://learningluminarium.com/.
March 24, 2022 at 6:55 am #651778I managed to receive an A grade working on Topic 8 for my RAP and this is partly owed to Adrian from the Learning Luminarium. He was always very helpful, quick to respond to my emails and always came back with meaningful commentary on how to improve my work. Really thankful and can’t recommend him enough.
March 24, 2022 at 5:06 pm #651820I am really pleased that my RAP has achieved A grade which would have not been possible without the help of Gillian Moorse (https://absolutementoring.uk).
I have chosen Topic 20 because I found CSR intriguing, however, the more literature I read, the more confused I felt. It rapidly worsened when I started researching my chosen organisation. 🙂 I worried that I would not be able to come to grips with a complicated issue like this and I knew I needed high-quality and competent mentoring.
Since T20 is relatively new and perhaps slightly elusive topic, it was not easy to find a mentor with a proven track record in both OBU RAP and CSR. Thanks for this forum I found Gillian who guided me through the whole process from the beginning to submission and she was brilliant. She helped me organise the numerous theories and select the most relevant issues. And trust me, the spectrum and quantity of information available about CSR and my chosen organisation was pretty frightening. New information, particularly in large doses, can be overwhelming and without Gillian, I am sure I would have been lost in the waste amount of literature.
I am really grateful to Gillian Moorse, mentor extraordinaire, and I recommend her to everyone who needs top-notch professional service. Her academic knowledge is as exceptional as her passion for mentoring. Besides, as a former senior marker of Oxford Brookes she knows exactly how markers think and what they look for. Thank you again, Gillian for helping me achieve my BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting degree with First Class Honours.March 28, 2022 at 1:24 pm #652114AnonymousInactive- Topics: 0

I am elated as I’ve passed my OBU RAP; obtaining a B grade (Period 43).
Thanks very much to Gillian Moorse @ABSOLUTE MENTORING – (https://absolutementoring.uk). I had been putting off the RAP project for so many years as I was not sure of how to start but contacting Gillian was the best decision I took. She was very patient with me, taking her time to answer my numerous questions and clarifying my doubts gave me the confidence to research topic 17: Weak Corporate Governance. My 1st draft was a disaster as I had no clue of what was expected of me but with Gillian’s mentoring expertise and competence, I grasped things better.
The RAP process was intense and extremely demanding for me but Gillian’s guidance, promptness, and rapidity in responding to my emails and reviewing my drafts during the entire RAP process was top-notch and made a huge difference. I immensely appreciate her patience and understanding from my 1st email communication, our zoom meetings till submission. I strongly recommend Gillian Moorse to all students thinking of starting the OBU RAP process – as she is a high-quality and competent mentor with many years’ experiences of the OBU RAP program. Thanks to Gillian I have achieved my OBU BSc (Hons) in Applied Accounting in 2022 – Hooray!!!!May 3, 2022 at 1:50 pm #654811I passed my RAP on the first attempt in p43 with A grade on topic 18. Gaining a degree in OBU was a dream & it came true through my mentor Irwin Loh. You made me think in my own way with absolutely no spoon-feeding! I was anxious at the beginning to undertake research for the first time but gained pure satisfaction at submission. This happened only through your constant positivity and guidance. You were available always to answer my queries and pull me on track, thanks for the support throughout.
I would recommend Learning Luminarium to anyone who wanted to crack OBU RAP!

Hi, is this still available in 2022? Needed urgently.
June 11, 2022 at 1:10 pm #658477Yes both the Learning Luminarium and absolute mentoring are still mentoring students for the BSc Applied Accounting.
You would need to contact them directly. I have just checked and the links above contained in their previous students’ feedback still work – so use these to view both of their sites and find further info about what they offer and then contact them via any links you find there to contact them and make an enquiry
September 3, 2022 at 9:42 pm #665051Hiya, any other mentors you’d recommend or is it still just the two from the original post in 2014?
Thanks.
September 4, 2022 at 12:02 pm #665110Bear in mind that as all you need to do to appear as a registered mentor on the OBU list of mentors is pass their online mentoring course, there is in our students’ experience, a huge difference in the actual quality of mentorship and pass rates. Our recommended mentors are those who consistently have high pass rates – after all who wants to pay the submission fee (currently GBP 470), and then have the disappointment of a fail?
These two recommended mentors have consistently been Best in Class and between them have had several prize-winners for the best RAP submitted worldwide and pass rates that far exceed the global average – which in Period 43 was just 61%. I think you will find that both The Learning Luminarium and Absolute Mentoring have at least an 80+% (if not a 90+%) pass rate for first submissions with many of their students getting at least a B grade and often As (as the student posts, above which are genuine, reveal).
If other mentors have these sorts of rates verified by the University we would also consider adding them to our list of Best in Class – but at the moment we have only found these two.
September 20, 2022 at 9:31 pm #666876Just received my results for Period 44 and I’ve I’ve obtained a B grade, 2:1 degree first time!
Thanks goes to Gillian Moorse @ABSOLUTE MENTORING – (https://absolutementoring.uk).
Gillian is very responsive to questions and very helpful. She’s all about tough love! But as she happily points out, it’s better to be crying tears of frustration correcting your RAP, than tears of sadness on results day! She is right and she has ultimately saved me from that.
I chose research topic 17: Weak Corporate Governance. My 1st draft was a disaster as I had no idea what was required. The RAP process was a huge learning curve and extremely demanding but Gillian’s guidance and responsiveness to my emails made a huge difference.
I would highly recommend Gillian Moorse to all students thinking of starting the OBU RAP process – as she is a high-quality mentor not only with many years’ experience of mentoring the OBU RAP program but as a former marker she knows what the marker is looking for.
Thanks Gillian!
September 21, 2022 at 4:57 pm #666934I am delighted to achieve an A grade in the RAP for period 44 and received a 1st class Honours at my first attempt. I chose topic 17 Corporate Governance and more importantly did my research to find a Brilliant Mentor!!
None of this would have been possible if it wasn’t for my fabulous mentor Gillian Moorse (ABSOLUTE MENTORING). I cannot highly recommend enough! She is very responsive with emails etc. Really supportive and has great attention to detail. She guided me in the right direction and helped me believe in myself when at a point I didn’t think it was possible.
With her past experience in marking and years of experience mentoring students completing the OBU RAP, I am so grateful I found this thread online and made the wise decision to choose her as my mentor.
If you want to pass first time (which we all do) and are willing to put the effort in, Gillian is the mentor for you!
Thank you so much and I really hope everyone gets the results they desired.
Martin
September 22, 2022 at 10:59 am #666977Got an A grade for my RAP thanks to the amazingly insightful and knowledgeable help of my mentor Gillian Moorse @ABSOLUTE MENTORING – (https://absolutementoring.uk). Can’t recommend highly enough.
September 22, 2022 at 10:25 pm #667039It has been a great privilege to have Gillian Moorse (https://absolutementoring.uk/) as my mentor in the OBU RAP and this commendation is to express my gratitude to her. I completed the BSc Applied Accounting in my first attempt with Upper Second Class Honours and a B grade for the RAP on Corporate Governance.
Engaging with a knowledgeable and experienced mentor is vital for success in the RAP journey. Gillian is a former marker of Oxford Brook’s BSc in Applied Accounting and she extended her experience to ‘Read the mind of the Marker’ and provided me with valuable feedback to help develop my report to a higher standard.
Gillian, Thank you once again for your great mentorship and I wish you all the best!September 24, 2022 at 2:48 am #667101I did it!, but I couldn’t have done it without Gillian Moorse(gillian@absolutementoring.uk). I was short of time, and I needed a mentor who really knew her onions to guide me straight to the point, and she did just that!
She takes her mentoring role very seriously and was so responsive that I was often challenged to keep up. My meetings with her were very insightful because of her wealth of knowledge, her reviews were very detailed and her feedback was very constructive. The best part was her encouraging words after every review, they really boosted my confidence and kept me going. She pointed me to what to look at, while I did the work and had fun while at it.
I started my RAP just about a month before the submission deadline, and I passed with a B on my first attempt. Having a great mentor is the number one key to passing this research project, and I definitely will recommend Gillian.

October 2, 2022 at 6:59 pm #667730“ I have passed second time with the help of my mentor Gillian Moorse. I cannot thank Gillian enough for her patience and for her positive attitude towards me. Her feedbacks were rather encouraging, and she always made me feel that I can do it. It is vital to choose the correct mentor as mentoring is a crucial part of the completion of this degree. If I had Gillian as my mentor from the start I feel I would definitely have passed on my first submission. I suggest to everyone that they choose their mentor wisely and I highly recommend Gillian Moorse at Absolute Mentoring.”

Really appreciative of him, as I wouldn’t have been able to score a “B” for the RAP (Period 44) without his mentorship. Would really recommend to reach out to him at https://learningluminarium.com/ if you’re looking for a mentor to guide you for your RAP!

October 19, 2022 at 7:33 am #669302I am really pleased that my RAP has achieved a C grade, which would not have been possible without the help of Mr. Irwin LOH (https://learningluminarium.com/).
He was always very helpful, quick to respond to my emails, and always came back with meaningful commentary on how to improve my work. Really thankful.October 19, 2022 at 9:42 am #669317Hi Jerry, nice to see you hear and thanks for the kind words!
Actually, if not for the fact that it’s a resubmission (where the maximum grade is C), I think you would have scored higher as you had poured in much work in research and analysis.
Do hope you celebrate your success!Irwin
