Greetings Mr. Moffat ! Hope this message finds you well !! Would like to ask you about the rationale behind having revised standards… Would these standards fall into either categories of basic and current??
There are many reasons why the original budget might be revised.
The most obvious one with regards to materials is that there has been a permanent increase in the cost of buying materials.
We do give examples (as well as explanations) in the free lectures on planning and operational variances.
They would be current.
