    Good evening,
    Does any one know how to do the actual learning curve on the calculator??
    For example:

    9000/16×1,500=r4
    Is supposed to be r=0.78 or 78%

    I am not getting this figure..

    It is not equal to r4, it is equal to r^4 (r to the power 4).

    r is therefore the fourth root so either use the n’th root button on your calculator, or take the square root twice.

    Apologies but I’m still not getting that…

    9000/16×1,500=0.375

    I am putting 4 ?0.375 = 0.75 not 0.78
    Even when I use the square root twice I’m not getting this figure..

    The answer is certainly 0.78.

    A problem is that different calculators need calculations in putting in a different order.

    On my calculator, you enter as follows:

    “4” “2nd” “x^y” “0.375” “=” (obviously ignoring the ” ,s)

    Alternatively, to take the square root twice:

    “sq root button” “(” “sq root button” “0.375” “)” “=”

    If those do not work on your calculator then you need to look in the manual for it. If you have lost the manual then type the model number into Google and you will find it 🙂
