In Kaplan exam kit, MCQ 160, why have they charged the full expense of 600 from May-July 20X2. I thought anything before 1 July 20X2 would be last year’s expense and so to calculate this year’s expense we would only need the expense from 1 July (which should be 200 according to the accruals concept) to 30 June 20X3. Could you please explain this?
