    It is a section 2 question..it has different tasks ..
    Malright a limited liability company , has an accounting year end of 31 October. The accountant is preparing the financial statements as at 31 Ocotber 2007. A trial balance has been prepared.
    Task 5
    An invoice of $15000 for energy costs relating to the quarter ended 30 November 2007 was received on 2 December 2007. Energy costs are included in administrative expenses.
    Complete the following statements
    The amount to the posted within the year end adjustments double entry above is?
    sir look why is it not 15000 X1/12?
    why is it 15000X2/3 ? Ocotber is the year end ..and they are involving the november payment into it..please explain sirr

    The quarter ended November is September, October, and November. Therefore at 31 October they were owing for September and October, which is 2 months out of a total bill that covers three months.
