Hi everyone @imuabbas, eagledave, alkemist ! ,
I need some help and suggestions please.
I am already an ACCA member and have the BSc degree. After 1 year of work, I want to get into the ANALYTICS field. With already so much effort, time and money already put into Accounts, I don’t want to completely leave the Account Path. But want to learn the IT way of utilizing Accounting and Finance education.
Can anyone suggest a pathway, through which accountant can learn about Analytics as well as Accounts. I came to know about the Msc in Accounting , which is great , but it lacks the analytics component of my educational goal.
Any help/comments is highly appreciated.
When did you do EPSM? If you did it BEFORE it had the data analytics module, ACCA has recently launch a new Certificate in Data Analytics (CertDA).
You can find out all about it here https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/qualifications/glance/certificate-in-data-analytics-certda/overview.html
And you can claim CPD for it.
I can also recommend to you ACCA’s professional insights https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/professional-insights.html
There is a huge section devoted to “Technology” https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/professional-insights/technology.html
And this is the digital hub: https://digitalhub.accaglobal.com
Thank you Kim Smith Keymaster,
I will definitely read these !!
You’re welcome!
Please note that we have a new classification of forum “QUALIFIED” and I will have this post transferred to that forum where I think it will be most useful to other forum users.
Got it – thanks !
