Dear Mike,
The P2 self study guide suggests that we read accountancy journals selectively in order to enhance the students’ possibility of success.
What journals or websites do you suggest? I am already looking at the ias plus website of deloitte
thank you

Karen, Ehsan is correct, please post questions like this into the Ask the Tutor page if you’re expecting an answer from me. It’s only on very rare occasions that I dip into the general forums
I was going to suggest http://www.iasplus until I read your last line!
I’ve just put into “search” ISA 701 and come up with the “NBA.nl” page. that seems a pretty good summary in the thread:
“international standard on auditing 701 communicating key … – NBA”
In fact, I use the internet quite extensively to find out about “new” matters. The only two caveats I can give you are:
1) you need to be certain that the one you select to read is the up-to-date position, and
2) that you don’t select a post that is not relevant to your location. There’s little point in selecting something that relates to the profession in, for example, the the US
For example, on the ISA 701 pages there is:
“701 Modifications to the Independent Auditor’s Report … – IFAC” which is now out of date
It’s a Dutch post (NBA.nl) but is relevant to our own regions
You should also read “INTERNATIONAL STANDARD ON AUDITING 706 (REVISED … – NBA”
OK?
