Accounts receivable letter is an example given for external confiramtions.
Is accounts receivable letter same as receivable circularisation??It does not provide evidence of completeness of the receivables balance because receivables may not query balances which are understated.
i didnt understated this. why it does not query balances which are understated?

Is accounts receivable letter same as receivable circularisation? Yes
As for completeness, you can only write to customers you know about, so if a balance is omitted from the list of receivables you will never write a letter so completeness is not covered by circularisations.
