    Hi,

I am preparing TX exam in September. I am not sure if I have started late or doing things right – first ACCA exam and currently going through chapter 4.

I bought the text book and revision kit from Kaplan but I am finding the video lecture here very useful and much better than reading the text book. I have a lot to go through and my plan to complete the lecture videos here and use the text book for things I don’t understand. I should complete the lectures here by 1st week of August then I am going to move to revision kit and exam papers giving my self 3 weeks revision.

I was going to watch the videos and then read the text book but I don’t think I have the time. Only 7 weeks left.

Do you think that should enough study and revision to pass? Any advice you can give would be great.

    thank you in advance

It depends on your prior knowledge. If you have some familiarity with the tax system, then identify your weaker areas, study them, and then focus on practice questions.

If you are not already familiar with the tax system, then I definitely recommend 3 months of study if you want to be confident of a pass. It’s a large syllabus!
