Hi,
I am willing to do my ACCA certification via distance learning; even though I am working part time I am aiming to complete the skills level certificate in 2 sittings (3 papers each exam) before Dec ’14. Any suggestions??I completed my AAT certification (level 3 & 4 in 12 months studying via distance learning) and waiting for my results on one paper Business Tax (ideally by end of Feb ’14). I am confident that I will get through the exams, but nothing that I could do of with ACCA registration as I do not have any other alternative other than to wait …unless there’s a way to initiate the registration process, please advise???
I really wanted to book my exams as early as possible for Jun ’14 sitting as I could save money as well and I have go the plan to work towards the deadline., hence I would like to start preparing for ACCA exams as soon as…
Also, I would like to make the most & best out of the time,
1. please can any advice the order that I could follow for my skills level (F4-F9)
2. would anyone be interested in group study? it would be massive step to share knowledge and understandings on the topics (ideally 1-2 hrs a week? I am from Milton Keynes city center
3. Anyone willing to sell or lend (F4-F9) books, I will make sure the book is returned in the same condition as I borrow them…Your assistance in this matter would be most appreciated…
I look forward to your replies….
Thanks and regards,

If you wishing to sitting in the skill level examination for only two sitting it has been rely to possible. But you will have prepare your study in the daily docket basis. i suggest one thing friend if you wish to pass each sitting then you will see each paper in the daily basis and do at least one question from each paper each day.
Thanks,

February 5, 2014 at 9:01 pm #155324Hello Aravind, you can attempt the Skills module of the ACCA qualification in any order.
Timetable for June 2014: https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/acca/global/PDF-students/exams/June_2014_ACCA.pdf
Timetable for December 2014:https://www.accaglobal.com/content/dam/ACCA_Global/Students/exam/December_2014_ACCA.pdfNote the layout of the exams, if you attempt the Skills module in order i.e. F5, F6, F7, F8 and F9, your exam will be one after the next. You will have no space between each exam. I would advice to have 1-2 days between each exam to get back a mental frame of mind especially if you had a bad experience with the exam.
Also, I would like to give some good news particularly with the examination format/structure for the December 2014 exam and onwards for the Skills module. There will be multiple choice, 10 marks questions and 15 mark/30mark depending on the paper. Check out the syllabus here: https://www.accaglobal.com/gb/en/student/acca-qual-student-journey.html
Some more good news is that F4 Corporate and Business Law will be available as computer based exams (CBE), multiple choice and can be written any time you want at a CBE center. If I were you, I would wait until September 2014 onwards to write that exam.
If you write exams in June 2014 however, all will be long style questions.
Make sure and always buy up-to-date texts and exam kits.
If you have a credit card, you can benefit from entering for exams at a cheaper rate if you enter early. The deadline is in March. This early fee can only be used if you have a credit card.Bye
