    Hi Sir,

    Can you explain the breakdown for marks in SBL, for example in a 16 mark question, what does the examiner expect from candidates, the breakdown of 16 mark please?

    At the end of the answers published by ACCA on their site as they publish marking schemes.

    Despite all that I normally work on the rough basis of 2 marks per relevant, valid point correctly explained and developed. Approximately 0.5 marks for spotting something relevant and then 1.5 marks for developing the point eg its implications or an appropriate response.
