Hi there! I have my ACCA remote exam tomorrow. I intend to wear eyeglasses during exam. However, my Photo ID that I’ll upload during check-in has my pic without glasses. During check-in I’ll also have to capture a photo of mine with the front camera and upload. So this photo that I’ll capture, should I wear eyeglasses or no?

I waited on a call to ACCA to confirm this for you – as long as they are not sunglasses (which are not permitted) you should check in with the same face that will be recorded throughout the exam – i.e. with glasses. Glasses should not be a problem for the facial recognition software to compare with your ID (as long as they do not weirdly cover your face)

September 7, 2022 at 9:00 pm #665668I am sitting FM Friday and don’t feel prepared at all. Any last minute tips to get me through it. Areas that I should invest my time tomorrow? I am off work tomorrow to revise and I need to make it count. Can someone advice please
September 8, 2022 at 7:10 am #665711@Vicosta “The two 20-mark questions will mainly come from the working capital management, investment appraisal and business finance areas of the syllabus.” – I suggest that whichever topic doesn’t come up in Section C will be well covered in Sections A/B – so the exam is fairly balanced.
There’s no point reading notes at this stage – you need to practice what questions you can – to time – from the CBE platform. I you haven’t attempted them, the practice exams there are full exam style and standard mocks – you should attempt Sections A and B strictly to time – so you do not overrun on these sections tomorrow. You should learn from your mistakes (all answers have justifications) so you don’t make the same mistakes tomorrow. If you attempt one practice exam and do ok on the OT Qs, you should focus on attempting as many Section C Qs as possible. But DON’T attempt only the calculations and ignore the written elements.
I strongly recommend you attempt at least one of the exams from the past exam library – these are section C only – so 40 marks – allow 1 hour 15 minutes to attempt it. Then as well as review your answer against the published answer and marking scheme (either in the CBE platform, or you can download from here https://www.accaglobal.com/us/en/student/exam-support-resources/fundamentals-exams-study-resources/f9/past-exam-papers.html
you MUST read an examiner’s report

October 13, 2022 at 4:04 pm #668544@Otee for future Qs, please choose the most appropriate forum and create a new post rather than post to an unrelated thread (as here).
In answer to your question, ACCA does not publish past exams but the Specimens can be accessed here https://opentuition.com/acca/acca-past-exams-questions-and-answers
